Individual Psychotherapy for You
Psychotherapy can greatly improve your mental well-being. Our therapists are highly trained professionals who specialize in treating mental health issues. Opening up your soul to a stranger requires a great deal of trust. Our practice provides a comfortable and private setting for you to share your feelings with us.
Individual therapy is all about the patient as an individual. People seek professional help for difficult life transitions and various mental illnesses, and we offer that help to them, as individuals. We can help with adjustment, depression, anxiety, relationships, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, eating disorders, and OCD.

Cultivating good mental health and emotional growth is what's going to be the most memorable part of your university experience.
When you visit our office, you can expect to be treated with respect, understanding, and compassion. We provide a warm, safe, and comfortable setting and encourage you to work through issues at your own pace. But you will also be challenged and engaged -- only through hard work can we overcome the burdens of the past and look to a brighter future ahead.
Therapy sessions typically last about 55 minutes, and the frequency of appointments will depend on your specific treatment plan. Regular attendance is strongly recommended to provide the fastest path to get back to being you.
Relationship Therapy, Couples Counseling, Family Therapy
Relationships should provide both partners with a sense of happiness and fulfillment, but can often end up in fighting and hurt feelings. Georgia Individual & Family can help couples work through their problems. We also help couples to create their own pathway to continue growth before problems occur.
There's no reason to wait for problems to boil over before seeking out professional advice. The greatest sources of conflict often develop at the beginning of the relationship, but they don't become apparent until it's too late. We help couples to communicate positively from the start and avoid potential problems later on.
In addition to relationship counseling, Georgia Individual & Family Therapy can help in addressing the unique needs of LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples. If you are in an LGBTQIA+ relationship and want to improve your relationship, you can reach out to us. It's time to take control of your future!
